Mar. 1st, 2004 11:15 amThe weekend went well! ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif) morganlf,
morganlf, ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif) fallowpastures and I went to the King's Head Pub in Santa Monica on Friday--I enjoyed their fish and chips and cider. It felt a little like being back in England--although, a England horribly twisted and parodied. :) A good time was had by all. I also picked up Transmetropolitan #4 at Hi-de-Ho. I've been picking up one of the Spider Jerusalem graphic novels every other week, and have been thoroughly enjoying them. I tell myself it's food for thought on one possible direction technology could go--and then I shudder in fear that that future might be realized.

I was happy for PJ and the LotR crew--they deserved the recognition! I can't wait for RotK to come out on DVD this fall.

Finally this morning, I went in to the Ashe center to get my cough examined. I've been coughing fairly frequently over the last six weeks, since I had the flu in January. :( It got so bad last night it woke me up every 20 minutes or so. :( The doctor didn't have a conclusive diagnosis, but he's putting me on a week's worth of Zithromax. Hopefully that will clear things up....
