Jul. 9th, 2005 11:06 amToday is our final day in St. Andrews. Alison is presenting as I type--go
morganlf! I'm sure she's busy being fabulous. I'll respond to comments later when I have more time to type...
Breakfast was sausage, baked beans, toast and boiled egg. Yum, yum. They had haggis at the dining hall, but apparently they only bring it out for the tourists. It didn't appear particularly appetizing... After a bid more exploring yesterday of the medieval alleys and lanes (closes and wynds), I finished _A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man_ which was good, but not a light read... Now I'm working on Alastair Reynold's _Revelation Space_ which has been good so far. We'll leave here this afternoon and take the bus back to Edinburough where we'll be for the next day. On Monday, we'll take the train to Ardrossan and then a ferry to Arran Island where we'll have two days... With any luck, we'll continue to have some Internet access to post more adventures....
