The current CNN headline is "Thousands Flee Frances"--I misread this as "Thousands Flee France." I guess the RNC is getting to me--I thought for instant perhaps we had decided to move the war on terror and preemptively invade France, to wipe out the vicious source of fashion, crepes, and weapons of mass destruction.

EDIT: This was not intended to make light of Hurricane Frances. My thoughts are with those fleeing their homes in the face of the coming devastation. It will be all the more tragic if Frances does substantial damage at the Kennedy Space Center--potentially shutting down the shuttle program.
