Argh. I hate being sick--not because I feel lousy, but because it always makes me feel like I'm getting further and further behind in everything I have to do. I got hit twice by bugs in the last two weeks--it's just not fair! It seems to be letting up today, thank the powers that be.

I'm currently working on getting a demo of my research up and running for my advisor--this currently involves getting some network sniffing code to run, so as to detect and identify wireless networks (both legacy, and those that support our advanced device analysis). I love it when stuff actually starts to come together and work--it makes me feel like there actually might be a light at the end of this particular tunnel.

The weekend was good, although I was sick through most of it. Saturday saw my Dragonlance game, where I tried very hard to kill off some characters, but was ultimately foiled. :) I'm greatly enjoying the game, which has now run for 14 months! That's pretty impressive--almost my longest running game. On Sunday, Alison returned from her conference in CT, and we hung out some with Shane--and then in the evening went to a birthday party for some friends in Enigma. That was actually pretty great--I saw and talked to a lot of people whom I haven't hung out with for a long time. I really should start doing more stuff with Enigma--it's nice to be able to hang out and chat with fellow geeks who I don't see everyday. :)
