Getting downright biblical...

So... the sun has been glowing cherry red, and it's been raining ash for two days. Combined with the solar activity, one has to wonder how soon the apocalypse will arrive.... In Riverside today, the ash has been blowing so hard that in the course of getting out of the car and walking into the house one's hair is covered. Ick.

However, despite the blowing ash, I did manage to completely disassemble morganlf's passenger-side headlight assembly. It wasn't made to easily facilitate replacing bulbs unfortunately! She's got a cracked mounting though, so I think we'll have to get a new one sometime. Maybe the junkyard around here will have a Corolla we can scavenge for parts...
